The bubble tea trend started in the 1980s in Taiwan, the trend is getting much bigger in the UK and since then has increased in the European markets too. "The western market has really taken on this eastern trend and made it their own," says Yoshi Lee, Director of Bubblelicious Tea, "You have to train yourself to "eat your drink, so to speak."
