W.M. Sprinkman Corporation Expands Operations with New Facility
12 July 2016 --- Franksville, Wis. – W.M. Sprinkman Corporation, a third-generation family business providing sanitary, stainless steel processing solutions for the craft brewing industry, is moving its Wisconsin-based company headquarters and manufacturing operations to a new facility in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Sprinkman will transition operations from Franksville, Wisconsin to a plant in an industrial park south of the Waukesha County Airport by fall of 2016 following renovations at the site. The company will maintain its production facility in Elroy, Wisconsin, which has been part of the corporation since 2000.
According to W.M. Sprinkman President Brian Sprinkman, the expansion is in response to growing sales in the craft brewing industry.
“We have simply outgrown our current location,” says Sprinkman. “The new plant is a much more flexible building, with higher ceilings and double the square footage of Franksville. This space will allow us to handle more orders and the larger ones that our customers are increasingly seeking from us.”
Sprinkman has been synonymous with processing equipment since 1929, and has emerged as a leading provider of complete brewing systems and vessels through its Sprinkman Brewing Systems division. The company designs and upgrades systems for regional breweries and microbreweries throughout North America. With continued high demand for products and services, Sprinkman expects to hire additional workers. There are nearly a dozen jobs available with the manufacturer even before the relocation.
Sixty people are employed at the Franksville plant and Sprinkman says the majority of workers plan to continue on with the company. The Elroy plant has 56 employees and remains a key stainless steel tank manufacturing facility for Sprinkman.
