Cargill’s program to empower women at its palm plantation in South Sumatra, Indonesia, won top honors in the Sustainability/Ingredients category of the 2019 BEST in Baking Program. Also, Fair Trade USA, a third-party certifier of fair trade products in North America, announced its participation in “My Planet Pass – 1% for the Planet,” a new program that helps consumers contribute to sustainability.
