Viterra Establishes New International Office in Germany
Hamburg location is an ideal fit for international structure, allowing Viterra to originate grains and oilseeds from France and Germany, facilitate further trade within the EU, and increase imports and exports to and from Europe.
Nov 9 2010 --- Viterra Inc. is pleased to announce it has opened a new office in Hamburg, Germany, further strengthening Viterra's market intelligence network in Europe.
"Over the last several months, we have taken decisive steps to enhance our competitive position as a preferred supplier of food ingredients in the international marketplace. Our entry into Germany adds to our extensive reach in the northern hemisphere, strengthening our ability to satisfy demand in European destination markets and beyond," said Don Chapman, Viterra's Senior Vice-President, International Grain.
The office will focus on the company's core commodities including wheat, barley and canola, and perform several strategic functions.
