30 Dec 2009 --- Vita Food Products, Inc. and Biltmore announce the launch of Biltmore’s epicurean salad dressings and marinades, the first collection from Biltmore in chef-inspired foods.
“Working with Vita Foods is a fantastic opportunity for Biltmore to extend our brand into the retail food market,” said Tim Rosebrock, Vice President and General Manager of Biltmore’s Licensing Division. “We’re thrilled to be offering consumers high quality items from Biltmore inspired by our chefs and the Vanderbilt family’s love of food and entertaining.”
Food lovers can now bring home George and Edith Vanderbilt’s legacy of culinary taste and hospitality in this easy-to-use, gourmet line of dressings and marinades, perfect for everyday cooking and entertaining.
The line will feature innovative interpretations of traditional favorites, such as Caesar, Italian Herb Vinaigrette, Honey Mustard, Orange Poppy Seed, Soy Ginger Marinade and Apple Rosemary Marinade.
The chef-inspired salad dressings and marinades showcase the highest quality ingredients, such as pure vinegars, real sugar, honey and cheese. The complete product line is certified kosher, and five out of the six products are made with all natural ingredients.
“We’re excited to partner with Biltmore to bring these delicious dressings and marinades to the marketplace. These salad dressings and marinades are as close to chef-prepared as you can get, without the work,” said William Zaikos, Vice President of Marketing of Vita Food Products, Inc. “We have enjoyed working with Biltmore to develop these delicious recipes and look forward to a very successful relationship.”
The Vita Foods line of Biltmore sauces will be available in grocery, gourmet and club stores, and some can be experienced in the restaurants at Biltmore.
The licensing partnership between Biltmore and Vita Food Products was brokered by The Valen Group, and was first announced in June 2008. Biltmore plans to continue to expand its line of chef-inspired, gourmet-quality, convenience foods into categories including entrees, appetizers, desserts, artisan breads and cheeses.
