Global specialty chemical and ingredient distributor Univar Solutions has unveiled its new Foodology by Univar Solutions Food and Beverage Development Kitchen at Essen Solution Center in Germany to drive its innovation pipeline.
The move comes amid opportunities for innovation in the European market as consumers demand more clean label products, plant-based proteins, and meat and dairy alternatives.
The new food kitchen will prioritize product innovation and growth, offering culinary novel solutions for customers and suppliers in Europe, says the company.
Driving product innovation
Highlighting Univar Solutions’ commitment to food technology and culinary innovation, the Germany-based center is part of a broader network of global solution centers that provide technical support, research and development, product testing, and specialty ingredient expertise across a range of industries.
