Univar Expands Innophos Distribution Agreement in Turkey

Dec 2 2011 --- Univar, a leading global chemical distributor, announced that it has expanded its wide-ranging distribution agreement with Innophos to include Turkey, where it will distribute the company’s full range of specialty phosphates through the recently acquired operations of Eral-Protek and Basic Chemical Solutions (BCS).
Univar is Innophos’ preferred partner for distribution of its specialty grade calcium phosphates across EMEA.

Innophos’ specialty grade calcium phosphates have a variety of applications and are widely used in the food, pharmaceutical and general chemical sectors. Within the food industry its products are particularly relevant to the meat, beverage and bakery industries while in the pharmaceutical industry they are used as excipients. They also have applications in water, paper and metal treatment, agriculture, electronics, textiles and detergents.
