Unique new Hydrocolloid Innovation Award established
This new HCI-award will give hydrocolloid companies a unique opportunity to present your newest, most innovative and highest valued research achievement, technology and/or product.
05/09/06 IMR International, together with NIZO Food Research and CNS Media (publishers of www.foodingredientsfirst.com and The World Of Food Ingredients) have established a new and unique Hydrocolloid Innovation Award.
This new HCI-award will give hydrocolloid companies a unique opportunity to present your newest, most innovative and highest valued research achievement, technology and/or product.
During the 2006 annual Hydrocolloid conference held in San Diego, it was noticed once again that functionalities in the fields of clean label, health and constant quality have to be increasingly combined with stabilizer functionality in the food industry. Since this offers opportunities and challenges in the field of hydrocolloid innovations, this new award was established in order to motivate the industry to take the challenge and to stimulate exposure. For users of hydrocolloids, it provides an overview of new and recent innovations that are available.
As from now, hydrocolloid companies can submit their hydrocolloid innovations using an entry form that can be downloaded and submitted by e-mail via www.hydrocolloid.com. A jury of experts from global food companies will select nominees from the entries. During a special session at the next Hydrocolloid conference in April 2007 (Lisbon), the winner will be announced. The goal is to draw attention to hydrocolloid innovations, thereby motivating the industry to innovate.
