13/03/08 The newly launched Taurus 300 entry-level tray sealer – designed and manufactured by Ulma Packaging is ideally suited for ready meal producers and meat packers switching from manual to fully automatic packaging and for use in smaller production environments where space is at a premium.

The robustly engineered machine offers the same flexibility and reliability that have become the trademarks of the Ulma industry-leading high-speed tray sealers.
The hygienically designed Taurus 300 is suitable for medium production runs and offers a maximum sealing area of 300mm x 400mm. It features a removable infeed conveyor with rod bars to centre and push the trays, and pneumatic die lifting system for quick and easy changeover for reduced maintenance and trouble-free operations.
Developed to work with a wide range of tray shapes and designs, the Taurus 300 offers precise sealing temperature and tray compatible heat sealing film. Packaging can be done with or without Modified Atmosphere (MAP).
