TreeHouse Foods to acquire Oxford Foods
Oxford will be added to TreeHouse's Bay Valley Foods business and integrated into its food service operation.
24/02/06 TreeHouse Foods, Inc. has announced that it is acquiring Oxford Foods Inc., a producer of pickles, peppers and related products for the food service industry. Oxford Foods, based in South Deerfield, MA, had net sales of approximately $24 million in 2005. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

TreeHouse is a food manufacturer servicing primarily the retail grocery and foodservice channels. Its products include pickles and related products; non-dairy powdered coffee creamer; and other food products including aseptic sauces, refrigerated salad dressings, and liquid non-dairy creamer. TreeHouse believes it is the largest manufacturer of pickles and non-dairy powdered creamer in the United States based on sales volume.
