02/01/07 Givaudan, the world's largest flavour company, has introduced its first annual flavour forecast, FlavourVision, predicting top flavours and flavour trends for the upcoming year. Utilizing myriad sources, including Givaudan's own teams of marketing and consumer researchers; flavourists; its noted Chefs Council, a team of the world's top chefs; and TasteTrek, a program in which Givaudan's scientists and flavorists traverse the globe in search of exotic and undiscovered new flavours, Givaudan has amassed what may be the ultimate predictions in the world of taste. Secondary sources, such as publications, restaurant menus and various databases were also consulted and analyzed.
