Tate & Lyle Brings Ingredient and Reformulation Expertise to Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation Board

As part of its commitment to The Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation's Board of Directors, Tate & Lyle will provide counsel to the Foundation regarding ingredient labeling, product formulations and marketing.

3/16/2011 --- Tate & Lyle, a world-leading producer of food ingredients and solutions, announced the appointment of Karl Kramer, President, Innovation and Commercial Development, to the Board of Directors of The Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation.

Kramer, formerly the President of Tate & Lyle’s SPLENDA Sucralose Division, was voted to the Board by the leaders of some of the world’s most influential consumer products companies, including General Mills, Pepsico and Kraft Foods.

As part of its commitment to The Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation's Board of Directors, Tate & Lyle will provide counsel to the Foundation regarding ingredient labeling, product formulations and marketing.

The Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation is a coalition of more than 100 food and beverage manufacturers and not-for-profit organizations. One of the Foundation’s key goals is to reduce childhood obesity.
