Food & Dairy Systems has been successfully streamlined in recent years, while at the same time significant investments have been made in the future and these have led to an attractive product range.
04/07/06 The operating company Stork Food & Dairy Systems has been allocated to the Strategic Unit Stork Food Systems with effect from 30 June 2006. Together with the poultry processing activities and the recent acquisition of Townsend Engineering, the Strategic Unit Food Systems forms an organisation that consists of technology leaders with global operations in highly specialised markets for food processing. As a result the group will now be able to further intensify its efforts to achieve additional scale and synergy benefits.
Food & Dairy Systems has been successfully streamlined in recent years, while at the same time significant investments have been made in the future and these have led to an attractive product range. Food & Dairy Systems has 400 employees and a turnover in 2005 of around 70 million. The integration also means the closure of the Capital Assets group which was formed in 2000 for companies that Stork planned to divest.
Stork Food Systems develops, produces and maintains industrial systems and installations for poultry and red meat processing and the production of convenience food. Stork Food & Dairy supplies systems for food processing, including advanced sterilisation technologies and sterile filling installations.
