Sodexho to strengthen its Senior Management structure
Effective September 1, 2005, Michel Landel will be appointed Chief Executive Officer of Sodexho Alliance.
02/03/05 On September 15, 2004, Pierre Bellon announced that in order "to enhance the efficiency and cohesiveness of the Sodexho Group," the Board of Directors had decided to enhance the governance structure, currently led by two Chief Operating Officers, Michel Landel and Jean-Michel Dhenain.
Effective September 1, 2005, Michel Landel will be appointed Chief Executive Officer of Sodexho Alliance. Pierre Bellon will step down as Chief Executive Officer while continuing to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Jean-Michel Dhenain has chosen to retire at the end of 2005. He will continue to serve Sodexho by sharing his experience and skills as an Advisor to the Group.
Jacques Petry will join Sodexho on March 1, 2005. An engineer, he holds degrees from Ecole Polytechnique (1978) and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees (1980), as well as an MBA from Villanova University in Pennsylvania (USA).
As a recognized international leader in multiservices, Jacques Petry has spent his entire career with the Group Lyonnaise des Eaux/Suez, where he served as Chairman and CEO of SITA, a company with 60,000 global employees and EUR 5 billion in revenues. Most recently, he was the Chairman and CEO of Suez Environnement, a company with EUR 12 billion in revenues.
