Sealed Air Expands Sustainability Offerings
Operations already designed for loose fill packaging can easily switch to PakNatural loose fill without making changes to their current packaging process.
Dec 2 2011 --- Sealed Air introduced PakNatural loose fill, an innovative protective packaging product made from 95 percent non-food, renewable materials.
In addition to its sustainable properties, PakNatural loose fill provides superior protection and produces less dust, offers greater anti-static performance and increased inherent strength in comparison to expanded polystyrene or starch-based loose fill products on the market. Operations already designed for loose fill packaging can easily switch to PakNatural loose fill without making changes to their current packaging process.
“At Sealed Air, we believe that maximizing sustainability means finding efficient packaging solutions that address the entire product life cycle to meet the needs of our customers,” said Lenny Abruzzo, North American sales development manager for Sealed Air’s PakNatural loose fill. “Previously, we didn’t offer loose fill packaging because the environmental and performance positioning did not fit with our company’s vision. With PakNatural loose fill, we have developed a loose fill solution that offers sustainability and performance benefits at a competitive price, giving our customers another option to meet their protective packaging needs.”
