Royal Coffee Maker Becomes Sole Importer of Belgian Single-Cup Coffee Filters

13/11/07 Until Americans wanting to make just one good cup of coffee at a time have had few choices - specifically, use a messy French press or drink a cup of second-rate instant coffee. But with the news that Royal Coffee Maker (http://www.royalcoffeemaker.com) has become the only importer of single-cup Belgian coffee filters, there is now a much more palatable option.
Made by Rombouts, each single-cup filter includes a disposable filter basket and one-use filter filled with premium Belgian coffee. A snug lid also is included with every box of filters. The unit fits onto any standard coffee cup and needs nothing but boiling water to create a fresh-brewed cup of coffee. Once the cup is ready - after about a minute of steeping - the reusable lid acts as a saucer for the filter basket, keeping desks or counters drip-free.

"Rombouts filters make the ultimate single-serve cup of coffee. There's no measuring, no mess, and no clean-up. It's always perfect," stated Maria Tindemans, president of Royal Coffee Maker. "We are excited to bring the Belgian single-cup coffee filter to U.S. coffee drinkers."
Rombouts single-cup filters carry on a tradition of excellence begun when Frans Rombouts began roasting coffee in 1896. The company was awarded the title of Certified Royal Warrant Holder of Belgium in 1966, and to this day Rombouts Coffee Roasters is a purveyor to Belgian royalty.
"That honor represents a symbol of status and trust," Tindemans explained. "It puts the responsibility on Rombouts to market products of the highest quality. That gives Royal Coffee Maker confidence, as the sole importer of Rombouts single-cup coffee filters, that our customers can rely on the quality of the products we offer."
Royal Coffee Maker offers four varieties of Rombouts single-serving coffee filters: Tradition 1896, a mild Arabica; Original, a medium, full-bodied roast; Continental, a rich medium-dark roast; and Decaffeinated, which offers the same rich taste as Original, without the caffeine.
