Rexam Now Colors the Dip-Tube in Perfume Bottles
Rexam conducts a technical study to validate the project's feasibility (no running of color from the dip tube to the perfume to prevent degradation, minimum order quantities).
09/11/06 Technology harnessed by Rexam in a highly demanding market sector. With the know-how of the Group's Research & Development (R&D) unit, Rexam gives customers the chance to create color harmonies between the cap, pump and dip-tube. Following the specs drawn up by the customer, Rexam conducts a technical study to validate the project's feasibility (no running of color from the dip tube to the perfume to prevent degradation, minimum order quantities). An essential stage before the perfume bottle hits the market.
Adding elegance to harmony
Coloring the dip-tube gives the component a role in its own right inside the bottle. It plays with colors and brings the perfume to life. It enhances the fragrance's sensuality as an explosion of the visual senses. Dip-tubes have come out into the open and now sport sumptuous colors and add to the perfume's sensual symbolism.
Another accessory featured by Rexam to create perfect harmony between perfume and bottle is the over-coating of the dip-tube. In aluminum for example, it looks like a gem in perfect symbiosis with the cap.
An evocative reference…
L’Eau D’Issey d’été (with a pink dip-tube similar to the actual perfume).
