Revision Brewing Plans to Open in Sparks, Nevada

18 July 2016 --- Sparks, NV. – Award-winning brewer, Jeremy Warren, is comfortable being bold – whether he is creating hop forward beers or opening his new brewery. Thus, it should be no surprise that after failing to reach a lease agreement on the Riverside property in West Sacramento, he has boldly “revised” his plans for a brewery location and will now open his production facility and taproom in Sparks, Nevada.

On June 24, 2016 Revision Brewing Company (RBC) signed a lease at 380 S. Rock Boulevard in Sparks, Nevada. Greg Shutt, RBC’s real estate broker and Vice President of Colliers International said, “Working with Revision Brewing was as refreshing as their beer […] these are astute business people. Prior to previewing buildings, RBC set up a shared Dropbox that contained [… information that was] extremely helpful in securing a space and had all of the information a typical landlord would need to [become] comfortable with their company. This information undoubtedly shaved 30 days off of the process of finding and securing a facility. In the end, the space was found and the lease signed in roughly two weeks.”

Prior to Revision Brewing Company, Warren was the founder, former co-owner and Brewmaster at Knee Deep Brewing Company, of which he parted ways in July 2015. With Revision Brewing Company, Warren will expound on the bold IPAs, DIPAs, and 3x IPAs that he is renowned for and then he will branch into creating experimental barrel-aged and sours beers. Revision Brewing Company has plans to distribute in California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, North Carolina and Georgia in 2017.

Revision Brewing Company will only be a five-minute drive from downtown Reno. Frank Lepori, the building owner in Sparks, Nevada has been very benevolent and accommodating to Revision Brewing Company in the leasing process. RBC was so pleased with the ease of working with Lepori that they will continue the relationship by partnering with Lepori Construction for the brewery build-out. “We feel that Revision Brewing Company will enhance all the great events that the Reno – Sparks area already offers and wish them all the best. It has been a pleasure working with Jeremy, his staff and the City of Sparks,” commented Lepori. He emphasized that they are looking forward to having a new and innovative company such Revision Brewing Company join the community.

RBC will be open to the public at the end of 2016. The brewery will accommodate a three vessel, twenty-barrel brewhouse and will produce 5,500 barrels the first year and grow to 15,000 barrels within five years. Greg Shutt remarked, “If RBC’s preparation and thoughtfulness are any indication of their potential success, they will be a great asset to Northern Nevada for many years to come.”
