Potato Starch Importers from EU Guilty of Dumping on Chinese Market -- China
According to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, potato starch importers from the EU are guilty of dumping on the Chinese market. China is being affected as this dumping can destroy its industry.
29/08/06 The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has accomplished its anti-dumping investigation regarding the imported potato starch originating from the EU, in accordance with Anti-dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China.
According to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, potato starch importers from the EU are guilty of dumping on the Chinese market. China is being affected as this dumping can destroy its industry.
The non-final ruling demands that EU importers of potato starch must pay duties to the customs authority from August 18. The amount of duty for most importers is 57.1%. However, Avebe UA’s duty is 44%, Avebe Kartoffelstarkefabrik Prignitz/Wendland GmbH’s is 44%, while Roquette Frères is 35%.
