Pork Farms Group Unveils Bangers ‘N’ Hash
21 Aug 2013 --- The Pork Farms Group, the premium producer of chilled savoury pastry products, is to add yet more innovation into retailers’ chiller cabinets with the launch of its latest product, Bangers ‘N’ Hash.
Launching at the end of August, Bangers ‘N’ Hash comprises four sizzling pork sausages wrapped in a fluffy hash brown. The product will go on sale priced at £1.49 (RSP) for a pack of four.
Bangers ‘N’ Hash, which needs to be heated in the oven for 12 minutes, is targeted at busy families. The product is a convenient meal centre, perfect for mid-week tea times or an in-home snack.
Chris Peters, managing director at Pork Farms, said: “We’re excited to be adding Bangers ‘N’ Hash to our product portfolio. It’s something a bit different and there’s nothing else like this product on the market at present. When we conducted our consumer taste test panels, Bangers ‘N’ Hash was greeted with great excitement, hopefully we’ll see a repeat of this when it hits supermarket shelves later this month.”
