Plus Pack and Bama Gruppen AS Cooperate
Two modified versions of plastic trays from the SmartView SaladChef range have been developed for Bama to ease the handling of the trays during the filling process.
06/12/2007 Following a Plus Pack workshop presentation, the leading Norwegian company The Bama Group started collaborating with Plus Pack on several product developments among others on Ready2Cook trays and on new plastic packaging solutions to meet its needs for fresh sliced fruits and vegetables.
Bama has chosen our Ready2Cook trays for their fresh prepared vegetables because of their convenience. The trays can be used to cook and serve fresh prepared vegetables directly from the container, either in the oven or on the grill, for direct serving on the dining table. We also supply with micro-perforated four colour flexo printed sealing film.
Two modified versions of plastic trays from the SmartView SaladChef range have been developed for Bama to ease the handling of the trays during the filling process. This has been done simply by adding sharp straight edges at the extremities of the tray. The one compartment APET tray is used for fresh ready-to-eat salads and the two compartment APET tray for fresh sliced fruits with dip.
The products are sold through supermarkets as well as kiosks, gas stations and widely throughout the food service industry through outlets such as canteens and vending machines.
