Oxo Chooses Amber for Stylish Glass Bottles

Oxo originally chose clear flint glass for the new container but changed to amber because the colour reflects and enhances the rich, dark qualities of the product.

12/02/08 Oxo has extended its family of household name products with a range of concentrated stocks – packaged in amber glass bottles produced by Rotherham glass container manufacturer, Beatson Clark.

The design process started in February 2007 with the 160ml square stock bottle totally finished in time for the August launch of the new product range. Oxo originally chose clear flint glass for the new container but changed to amber because the colour reflects and enhances the rich, dark qualities of the product.

Oxo Concentrated Stock, which is available in vegetable, chicken and beef varieties, is now on sale in all major supermarkets throughout the UK.
