O’Shevlin Importing Company Launches Bonn Óir Gold Medal Vodka
03 Feb 2015 --- The O’Shevlin Importing Company (O’Shevlin) announces the launch of Bonn Óir (pronounced bän ôr) Gold Medal Vodka, the first Irish-American vodka.
Bonn Óir will hit U.S. stores and restaurants this month. Bonn Óir Vodka is born of an Irish family recipe handed down through three generations of the O’Shevlin’s of County Armagh, Ireland. Bonn Óir Gold Medal Vodka utilizes a groundbreaking, yet still handcrafted, distillation process resulting in one of the most pristine, ultra-premium, super-smooth vodkas.
Bonn Óir is leveraging innovation to meet the preferences and rising standards of premium vodka drinkers everywhere. By using only the top-grain of soft white Irish wheat (from which fine artisan breads are made), Bonn Óir delivers an ultra-smooth and clean finish unlike other “premium” vodkas. Yet due to the unique distillation process, Bonn Óir remains gluten free. The Bonn Óir family of products includes “Bonn Óir Gold Medal Vodka,” Bonn Óir Lite,” and “Irish Fire.” Bonn Óir Lite shares the same passion for quality as the original Bonn Óir Vodka, with only 40 calories per serving. “Irish Fire” is a vodka-based spirit whereby each handcrafted batch is infused with real cinnamon sticks, and then allowed to rest for weeks in toasted oak barrels, ensuring a unique, oaky finish. Finally, they slowly add natural agave nectar resulting in a boldly flavored, deep red spirit with delicious notes of caramel.
