O'lala Foods announces expansion of distribution network
Choco'la(R) Chocolate Gum to be made available through retail outlets in New York and Canada.
17/05/05 The United States, Citing accelerated growth, O'lala Foods, Inc., a functional foods and supplements company, has announced that it has expanded its domestic and international distribution network.
Choco'la is a sugar-free and fat-free chewing gum developed as a chocolate alternative for diabetics and people on weight management programs. The gum uses propriety flavor system to effectively incorporate a creamy chocolate taste into a gum base. Choco'la was featured on the Unwrapped program during the Food Network's Chocolate Week. Since then, the product has enjoyed a substantial and sustained demand.
Through its newly established relationships, Choco'la will be available in more than 1,000 retail outlets in New York City by the end of the fourth quarter. In addition, the company has established key relationships with Canada's largest independent specialty candy retailer, Sugar Mountain Candy.
O'lala Foods is in the process of raising capital to support the growth of Choco'la and the development and launch of other innovative confectionary, food and beverage products.
