Nutrinova successfully complets the global FPASAFE audit

21/07/05 Nutrinova, international supplier of specialty food ingredients to the food and beverage industries, has successfully completed the FPA SAFE (Supplier Audits for Food Excellence) audit. FPA (Food Products Association) is the new name for the former National Food Processors Association (NFPA).
Having proactively completed the audit for its sweeteners and food protection business, Nutrinova has, once more, followed customers’ increasing requirements for globally certified quality and food safety and security management systems.
FPA is the largest trade association representing the food and beverage industry in the United States and worldwide, serving as the industry's voice on scientific and public policy issues involving food safety, food security, nutrition, technical and regulatory matters, and consumer affairs. The FPA-SAFE program is based on a descriptive audit that reviews the supplier’s practices in the areas of quality-related management responsibilities, prerequisite programs, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point based food safety and security systems, production controls, quality management systems, and regulatory considerations.
