Nielsen-Massey Extends Organic Line to Flavors

03 Oct 2014 --- Nielsen-Massey Vanillas, Inc., purveyors of fine vanillas and flavors, is set to introduce two new organic products in the 4th quarter of 2014 for industrial customers: Organic Pure Almond Extract and Organic Pure Peppermint Extract.

One of the first producers to offer a Fairtrade and organic vanilla extract from the Madagascar Bourbon region, Nielsen-Massey has long prided itself on its commitment to sustainability within the industry. This commitment has now expanded to the company’s first organic pure flavor extracts.

“We are excited to expand our organic line to our pure flavor extracts,” said Craig Nielsen, CEO of Nielsen-Massey. “Environmental sustainability is an important topic of conversation in the food industry, and we are glad to add to that conversation with our Organic Pure Almond Extract and Organic Pure Peppermint Extract.”

The new flavor extracts receive their organic certification from USDA Organic by Quality Assurance International.

Nielsen-Massey Organic Pure Almond Extract is made with the purest organic oil of bitter almonds to deliver optimal results in flavor and quality. Organic Pure Almond Extract pairs well with fruits, vanilla and chocolate and nicely accents salad dressings, sauces, custards and ice creams.

Crafted from the finest organic mint oils under the strictest quality standards, Nielsen-Massey Organic Pure Peppermint Extract is as ideal for teas, chocolates, cakes and candies as it is for winter holiday classics such as ice creams and cookies. The product is also an excellent accompaniment to pork, lamb and poultry.

The Organic Pure Almond Extract and Organic Pure Peppermint Extract will be available in one-gallon jugs for industrial customers in the 4th quarter of 2014.
