Next-Generation Inspection Tool Exceeds Current Vision Offerings

14/04/07 SYSTECH International, a leading provider of Packaging Execution Systems (PES) for the pharmaceutical industry, announced the release of its next-generation Optical Character Verifier 2 (OCV2). The new SYSTECH solution improves the inspection accuracy and reliability of character inspection by incorporating machine vision expertise into the product’s functionality. Plant operators can realize multiple benefits by utilizing SYSTECH’s OCV2, which is more tolerant to normal acceptable manufacturing variances such as part presentation, rotation, and material finish. The verification process has been optimized for rapid classification of acceptable, damaged, or inappropriate components. The training and inspection procedures have been streamlined, increasing plant personnel productivity. Combined, these improvements increase overall equipment efficiency by maximizing quality, performance, and availability.
