New Nestlé Waters Factory Opens in Poland

Jul 23 2010 --- The Home & Office Delivery factory situated in Rzeniszow in the southern Polish region close to Krakow will support the development of the Company’s Dar Natury bottled water brand by providing new water resource capacities close to the large distribution centre areas.

The new 36,000 m2 factory will produce more than 40 million litres per year, create around 45 jobs and allow Nestlé Waters Poland to continue its growth in the Polish Home & Office Delivery market.

Producing 18.9 litre bottles of spring water, the facility will also support the first Dar Natury factory opened 17 years ago in Czestoniew, in central Poland.

At the official opening ceremony, John J. Harris, Chief Executive Officer for Nestlé Waters, was joined by Pytlak Wlodzimierz, Business Country Manager of Nestlé Water Direct in Poland, Mr Sleczka, Mayor of Rzeniszow city and Mr Stalhi, Swiss Embassy representative.

The city of Rzeniszow was selected for the quality of its water which is extracted from a local source that meets all quality and organoleptic requirements adopted by Nestlé Waters.

Nestlé Waters Poland markets strong local brands such as Naleczowianka, Nestlé Aquarel in the retail segment, and Dar Natury and Nestlé Aquarel in the Home and Office Delivery category.

Worldwide, Nestlé Waters offer brands such as Perrier, Vittel, Aqua Panna and S.Pellegrino.
