New Limited Edition Savanna Cider to Zest Up Summer

01 Oct 2014 --- Distell is further leveraging the astonishng popularity of its Savanna natural premium cider brand with a new limited edition variant called Angry Lemon.

Available for a limited period, this South African summer only, this new cider category innovation will be a choice for consumers who like the familiar crisp, dry tang of Savanna cider, but with an added twist of lemon for a distinctively fresh taste.

"Savanna will be bringing excitement and added zest this summer. Angry Lemon also brings greater convenience to consumers with a twist of lemon already in the cider - and offering consumers another take on the popular Savanna ritual of popping a lemon wedge into the neck of the bottle," says Marcel Swain, Savanna's marketing manager.

"Over and above the wow factor of our funky Limited Edition, its release will be supported on TV, radio and through promotions over this period," he adds.

Available from October onwards, the RSP is R59.95 per 6-pack and R215 per case.

This is the fourth addition to Savanna's famous dry range – Dry, Dark, Light.
