New Innovative Closure for Sirop Sport Berger from Marie Brizard

MARIE BRIZARD has actually chosen a customized hinged dispensing closure made by BERICAP France for its syrup range SIROP SPORT BERGER in a 75cl PET bottle.

08/12/06 MARIE BRIZARD is one of the leading manufacturers in France for liqueurs and syrups with some leading fruit syrup brands such as BERGER.

In its strategy to maintain leadership on the syrup market through innovations, MARIE BRIZARD has actually chosen a customized hinged dispensing closure made by BERICAP France for its syrup range SIROP SPORT BERGER in a 75cl PET bottle.

The bottle is a standard 38 mm, 3-start neck finish bottle supplied by RESILUX and the new closure is snapped on it according to a patented system of BERICAP France: in as such, MARIE BRIZARD benefits from standard bottle prices instead of paying the price of a customised PET bottle.

The new SIROP SPORT closure, ref. 4352, is part of the new generation of hinged dispensing closures developed by BERICAP France to be added to its range of two-piece dispensing closures with more convenient and consumer friendly closures:

• overcap remains attached to the main closure and does not get lost after opening
• convenient hinge allowing the overcap to quickly fall back on its own to almost 180° opened position
• beak shaped spout allowing precise dosing and flow by the consumer
• such beak shaped spout is integrated into the general shape of the closure for any easy capping without orientation
• easy to open membrane thanks to a special shape of the tearing zone and reinforced tear off ring base

Same concept has also been developed for MIGROS for its PET bottle with 28 mm PCO neck finish (closure ref. 4351) and is now generalized to all new syrup closures range of BERICAP France.

With this new hinged closure reference, BERICAP closures now cover both 28 mm PCO and 38 mm, 3-start standard neck finishes.
