FPM Ingredients will manage under the lead of Lars Anderson globally the production and marketing of all former "by-products" to generate synergies and to develop further market opportunities.

Nov 14 2011 --- GELITA has founded a new -third- global GELITA Business Unit called FPM Ingredients.

FPM stands for Fats, Proteins, Minerals.

FPM Ingredients will manage under the lead of Lars Anderson globally the production and marketing of all former "by-products" to generate synergies and to develop further market opportunities.

In September it emerged that Dr. Philipp Koepff will acquire further 25% of the shares of the GELITA group. Together with his previously held shares Dr. Philipp Koepff will hold more than 50 % of the shares of the worldwide largest gelatine producer. Contractual agreements with other shareholders of the company were made.
