Nestle to close three US candy sites

04/04/05 Three Nestle candy plants that manufacture products like Sweet Tarts, Fun Dip and Pixie Sticks will be closed by next year, the Glendale company has announced.

The bulk of production will be moved to existing Nestle plants in Bloomington and Itasca, Ill. About 40 percent of production will be moved to a Nestle plant in Saltio, Mexico.
