National Starch expand in China

The company claims to now have the local capabilities and expertise required to assist customers in quickly developing and commercialising innovative new products.

“Having manufacturing and technical facilities in China, a country undergoing tremendous economic growth, is key to National Starch Food Innovation’s commitment to supplying food manufacturers throughout the region with innovative starch ingredients. We now have the local capabilities and expertise required to assist customers in quickly developing and commercialising innovative new products,” comments Jeff Laurent, corporate vice president, Asia Pacific, National Starch Food Innovation.
According to James P Zallie, group vice president: “The new facility will strengthen National Starch Food Innovation’s efforts to be the premier producer of starch-based ingredients for the global food industry. Around the world, food manufacturers are striving to provide consumers with products that are not only flavourful, but that also deliver desirable textures and nutritional value. With this new manufacturing plant in China, National Starch Food Innovation is more than equipped to assist customers in quickly developing and commercialising innovative new products.”
