The company behind power brands such as Oreo, belVita biscuits, Cadbury Dairy Milk and Milka chocolate and Trident gum, has been struggling with sales growth in recent times because of a change in preferences, as US and other consumers seek healthier, natural and fresh alternatives to packaged foods.
