07/04/05 Moet Hennessy, the wines and spirits group of LVMH, the world's leading luxury products group, has announced the launch of 10 Cane, which is destined to become the world's premier prestige rum, in the United States.
10 Cane, originating from Trinidad, will be launched in the United States in Spring 2005 targeted at a discerning clientele in search of a luxury rum.
10 Cane is created through the multi-stage, small batch distillation of very high quality cane juice, drawing upon the expertise of Moet Hennessy Master Distillers at each stage of production. The aim of this process is to create an unrivalled rum tasting experience: that combines a complexity of aromas with a rich, smooth texture. It is this attention to detail which differentiates 10 Cane from other types of rum.
Thanks to the partnership established with Trinidad Distillers, the Moet Hennessy experts have produced a rum of exceptional quality. Indeed, 10 Cane is the fruit of an alliance between the best French craftsmen and local expertise, and uses the first pressing of the finest sugar cane from local plantations in the three-year process to distill and create this super-premium rum.
