DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) and EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) are the essential fatty acids important for good health and normal growth and development.  Many studies have shown that DHA plays an essential role in the normal development of the brain, eyes, and nerves while EPA improves joint mobility.  Together, EPA and DHA aid in the maintenance of cardiovascular function.

“Canadians have truly embraced Minute Maid Fruit Solutions since our launch last year,” said Stephanie Baxter, Coca-Cola Ltd.  “With the launch of Minute Maid Fruit Solutions Omega-3 we are now able to provide Canadians with 0.1g of Omega-3, six essential nutrients, two fruit servings, no added sugar, and great taste.  Most importantly, with this new addition, we continue to offer Canadian consumers innovative solutions to respond to their nutritional needs and now we can help contribute to their daily intake of Omega-3.”

Ian Lucas, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at ONC, said, “Omega-3 EPA/DHA is so important for overall good health; however, a large part of the population is still not receiving the suggested daily intake of 500 mg of EPA/DHA per day.  The Minute Maid Fruit Solutions with Omega-3 will provide people with another way to help close that gap.”

Minute Maid Fruit Solutions are also available in two additional delicious flavours Orange Strawberry Banana and Tropical Blend (pineapple, mango, orange).
