Kemin Food Ingredients Strengthens New Product Innovation
Alex Fink returns to Kemin as the world wide marketing director. He will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa. Alex most recently served in a senior product strategy role with Pioneer Hi-Bred International.

24/03/09 Kemin Food Ingredients has added four people to its global marketing department as the company continues to strengthen its focus on new product innovation.
“Kemin is continually researching and developing new product opportunities to bring to the marketplace,” said K.P. Philip, president of Kemin Food Ingredients. “With these additions to the marketing team, we now have a core group of individuals who will focus on product innovation so we can continue to better serve our customers.”
Alex Fink returns to Kemin as the world wide marketing director. He will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa. Alex most recently served in a senior product strategy role with Pioneer Hi-Bred International. Prior to Pioneer, Alex was the commercial director for Kemin Health. He has a Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics from the University of Missouri and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois. Alex is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve.
K. Ganapathy returns to Kemin as the marketing manager for India and Asia Pacific. In this role, he will be based at the company’s Chennai, India office. Most recently, Ganapathy was a business development manager for DSM Food Specialties. Prior to DSM, he served as product manager for Kemin Food Ingredients India. Ganapathy holds a Bachelor of Technology in food sciences from Marathwada Agricultural University in Parbhani and a Master of Science in food technology from CFTRI Mysore.
Kelly De Vadder has been promoted to marketing specialist and will continue to reside in the Herentals, Belgium office. In this role, she will focus on new product introductions in the European market. Kelly joined Kemin in 2006. Prior to Kemin, Kelly served as a public relations assistant for BP Chembel. She has a bachelor’s degree in business translation and interpretation from KHLIM in Diepenbeek.
Melissa Martinez has been promoted to marketing coordinator where she will be primarily responsible for the day to day management of the company’s product innovation process. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from AIB College of Business. She will be based at the company’s Des Moines headquarters.
