26 Sep 2024 --- Swiss ingredient producer Jungbunzlauer is investing US$200 million in a “first-of-its-kind” facility in Ontario, Canada, for xanthan gum, a thickening and stabilizing agent derived from corn, soy, dairy or wheat. The multi-year project aims to strengthen the company’s presence in North America, create employment in the domestic market and push sustainability goals with US$4.8 million from the Invest Ontario Fund.
