Joint Venture to Further Developing the Novelty and Value Varietal Category

14/07/06 Boutinot Wines Estates Inc. and A.V. Imports, Inc. have joined forces to launch the newly revamped Old Fart wine brand, a joint venture dedicated to further developing the novelty and value varietal category.

Old Fart Wine -- and Old Fart's Wife, the partnership's first new products of this joint venture, will celebrate the great tasting wines from
the Southern Rhone region of France with a humorous twist. The announcement was made today by Paul Boutinot, Proprietor and winemaker of Boutinot Ltd. and Dennis Copertino Vice President Sales of A.V. Imports, Inc. The new venture will develop, launch, and distribute the Old Fart varietal line; a Rhone Red blend (a blend of Grenache and Syrah) and Old Fart Wife's Chardonnay for distribution in the United States.

A.V. Imports, Inc. will offer the Old Fart Wife's Chardonnay and Old Fart Grenache/Syrah at a suggested retail $9.99. The new Old Fart blends and improved package, are slated to be launched in August 2006.

"The wine's humorous label, combined with a great wine in the bottle, has had a tremendous appeal to the American consumer over the past five years," said Copertino. "We are excited to blend Boutinot's gift for wine making with A.V.'s sales innovation to take this brand to the next level."

The joint venture will establish operations in both Burgundy, France and Columbia, Maryland to produce and distribute these wines under the Old Fart brand. A.V. Imports, Inc. is the exclusive managing US partner and Boutinot, Ltd. will provide wine sourcing and production assistance.
