It is a unique combination of transparent polymer material and aluminium.
19/02/08 ‘Stars’ drink is a flavoured sparkling water with fruit juice or fruit flavour. It is available in four different varieties: orange, mango, peach and grape. At a first glance ‘Stars’ seems to be packed in a classic can. But in fact it is a combined packaging composed of a plastic container with a capacity of 350ml and an aluminium lid used in ordinary cans. It is a unique combination of transparent polymer material and aluminium.
The cans are wrapped in full-body shrink sleeves with graphic related to the particular flavour. Although this combined packaging seems to be more economical from the producer’s point of view, the ecological aspect raises doubts – plastic is more complicated to recycle and separating the two materials may cause problems.
‘Stars ‘ drink has been made in China for Impol Group Poland from Olsztyn.
