Inko's LLC Introduces Energy Drink Fueled by Tea Caffeine
The source of energy in Inko’s White Tea Energy is derived from a unique blend of all-natural white and black tea caffeine, providing a sustained, balanced alertness without shocking the system.
16/10/06 Inko’s LLC, the first and only beverage company solely dedicated to producing a full line of 100% all-natural, ready-to-drink (RTD) iced white teas, today announced the launch of its first-to-market, tea caffeine-based energy drink—Inko’s White Tea Energy—a 100% all-natural, non-carbonated beverage fueled by 184 milligrams of tea caffeine per 16-ounce can.
The source of energy in Inko’s White Tea Energy is derived from a unique blend of all-natural white and black tea caffeine, providing a sustained, balanced alertness without shocking the system. To sum up its effects, Inko’s has trademarked the term “Jitter-Free,” which can be found on every cobalt-blue can. In addition to the tea caffeine, the drink gets an added boost from guarana and panex ginseng.
“With Inko’s White Tea Energy, we’re trying to add a little sophistication to the category,” said Andy Schamisso, founder and president of Inko’s LLC. “By creating an all-natural, non-carbonated lemon-ginger taste at 20 to 30 percent less calories than other sweetened energy drinks currently on the market, our intended target is the same as our core line of RTD teas: the healthy consumer.”
Inko’s White Tea Energy is flavored with lemon juice, ginger and other natural flavors, providing consumers with a refreshing taste unlike any other energy drink on the market. As with all of Inko’s other nine iced tea offerings, the energy brew is sweetened with crystalline fructose, not high fructose corn syrup. Inko’s White Tea Energy contains 80 calories per eight-ounce serving.
Published studies show that tea in general, and white tea in particular, may have superior health benefits with regard to cancer prevention. To that end, Inko’s supports definitive research on the benefits of white tea by making donations of part of its revenue specifically to white tea cancer research.
The Inko’s White Tea Energy 16-ounce can will be packed in 24-can cases and will join Inko’s line of nine RTD iced white teas on the shelves of supermarkets, gourmet/health food stores, delis, cafeterias and restaurants across the country.
