Ingredion to Address Growing Clean Label Trend at Gulfood
Ingredion Germany GmbH will showcase its portfolio of nature-based functional ingredients at Gulfood/Ingredients Middle East 2013, as it demonstrates how its innovative and versatile solutions can help manufacturers to achieve significant cost savings and meet growing demand for clean label products.

Ingredion will be using this opportunity to showcase how its speciality starches can replace costly ingredients, streamline production costs and improve eating quality in dairy, beverage, savoury and bakery applications:
• Award-winning PURITY GUM ULTRA emulsifier delivers exceptional turbidity and stability in both soft and alcoholic beverage formulations. Meeting industry and consumer demand for cost-effective drinks, the ingredient eliminates the need for weighting agents can reduce manufacturing costs by as much as 50 per cent.
• A key ingredient on-stand will be N-DULGE C1, a co-texturiser that replaces dairy fat for desserts, dressings, yoghurt and yoghurt drinks with indulgent, luxurious textures.
• The bakery team will demonstrate how manufacturers can use PURITY GUM 25 ER starch to reduce egg content in cakes without compromising taste, texture or mouthfeel.
• N-DULGE 316 co-texturiser can replace costly oil in mayonnaise while maintaining the texture or mouthfeel of a full-fat product.
