G.H.MUMM Reveals its Latest Sabre Collaboration With Acclaimed Designer Ross Lovegrove

G.H.MUMM House of Champagne unveiled its latest creation – The G.H.MUMM Sabre by Ross Lovegrove – an exceptional contemporary interpretation of one of the great rituals of Champagne by internationally acclaimed Designer Ross Lovegrove.

Within the heart of the prestigious Opéra Garnier restaurant in Paris, which colors are so quintessentially G.H.MUMM, the House of champagne revealed its latest collaboration, in an impressive scenographic setting also produced by Ross Lovegrove.

The Champagne Sabrage is one of the proud traditions in Champagne and a genuine culture that G.H.MUMM is reviving in a playful and contemporary way, by inviting designers to deliver their own interpretation of the Sabrage gesture.

Having previously worked and revealed the first Sabre collaboration with French designer Patrick Jouin two years ago, G.H.MUMM pursues its unique collection of “Sabre” and chose Ross Lovegrove for his visionary, innovative and sensitive approach. The designer came up with a timeless object that inspires touch and sensuality. A true piece of art, which is shaped by the gesture itself.

“I was totally seduced by the gesture and experience of Sabrage, which inspired me to create a piece with a flowing, seamless shape which suggests restraint and a moment of revelation” explained Ross Lovegrove.
Designed for left and right handed use, the G.H.MUMM Sabre offers the ultimate balance of weight and mass, and its shape suggests restraint and then a moment of revelation.

The G.H.MUMM Sabre comes in a limited edition sculptural case – the Deluxe Case by G.H.MUMM – which encloses a magnum of the legendary Cordon Rouge in an organic form creating a feast for the eyes.
Personally signed by Ross Lovegrove, the Deluxe Case by G.H.MUMM will be available in selective outlets in G.H.MUMMmain international distribution markets.
