Gallo Trade Push For Its New Vodka Brand
24 Feb 2014 --- E&J Gallo has started its first trade promotion for New Amsterdam Vodka, which was launched exclusively in the impulse trade late last year.
The promotion runs until the end of March and is designed to raise awareness and drive distribution of the new vodka.
The promotion offers five lucky retailers the chance to win a year’s supply of E&J Brandy. All they have to do is buy a case of New Amsterdam Vodka and follow a text-to-win mechanic to be entered into the draw, said associate marketing manager James Taylor.
The promotion is being supported by in-store POS materials including posters, shelf-barkers and case stickers.
Taylor said New Amsterdam Vodka has already taken the USA by storm, becoming the fastest spirits brand to reach one million cases sold.
New Amsterdam Vodka is available in 200ml and 700ml bottles that retail at £5.49 and £15.99 respectively.
