Fuller’s Unveils Limited Edition Rose-bud Infused Imperial Stout
26 Nov 2013 --- Fuller’s, the London based family brewer, has revealed its latest innovation with the launch of a new limited-edition Imperial Stout, created in partnership with UK beer writer, Melissa Cole.
The 10.7% ABV beer is brewed according to the classic style of Imperial Stout that dates back to the 18th Century, but with the addition of Centennial hops that impart a distinctive floral character. Furthermore, dried rose buds have been infused during the maturation process to give the stout a unique flavour profile that features a hint of Turkish Delight.
Fuller’s Imperial Stout is a handcrafted strong, dark stout with roasted dark chocolate notes and a slight fruity acidity with fairly high bitterness. It is presented in a stylish gift box that reflects the premium nature of the beer and will appeal to connoisseurs and collectors alike. The stout has a shelf life of 10 years and is ideal as a gift to mark special occasions.
Production of Fuller’s Imperial Stout will be limited, with a small allocation being made available in the UK. The premium-priced stout will also raise the profile of the London brewer internationally with exports to key markets with a high demand for strong stout beers including Chile, Estonia and Japan.
Fuller’s Imperial Stout is also exclusively available for a limited time only at Fuller’s Brewery Shop, in Chiswick, London, at £8.50 per 500ml bottle.
