This advice highlights some simple and practical issues which have featured in relevant published audit reports as critical areas of good practice or areas for improvement.

The guidance seeks to provide local authority Service managers with some key information on prompts that may assist in managing and monitoring inland imported food controls and at smaller seaports and airports.
