Frutarom Switzerland Opens “Innovation Center” by Lake Zurich
This innovation center will serve as the European hub for innovation projects, inviting customers and staff from various sites to jointly work on new solutions that combine flavors, Food Systems, herbal extracts and other functional ingredients.
12/07/07 Frutarom Switzerland’s new “Innovation Center” is now opening its doors after almost one year of construction work. The Innovation Center shows how much value Frutarom attaches to new product development. So far the project has cost 5 million Swiss Franks (approximately 3 million Euro).
This innovation center will serve as the European hub for innovation projects, inviting customers and Frutarom staff from the various sites to jointly work on creative new solutions that combine flavors, Food Systems, herbal extracts and other functional ingredients.
In the future the distinctive building will be a center for targeted, customer-focused innovation and a source of inspiration for the development of new flavors and solutions including Food Systems and functional ingredients.
With its Innovation Center in an inspiring atmosphere, Frutarom says it is investing in research and development and remaining true to the maxime “Passion for Taste and Health.” Under its roof the distinctive building unites different departments, in which creative concepts and solutions for contemporary products will be investigated and developed: Modern conference facilities, flavor analysis and flavor creation areas, sensor technology, and the application-related confectionery, baked goods and beverages departments. Especially the “Show Kitchen” enables the company to present its products to customers in an imaginative way.
The modern building represents a clear commitment to progress and development, in harmony with nature and the surroundings. With the interaction of colors, shapes and light the green cube creates an inspiring environment, which continues on into a 1500 square meter park with art installations.
