Fortitech announces appointment of new Communications Manager
As the Communications Manager, Mark A. Fanion will be responsible for internal corporate communications initiatives, development of technical articles and a media training program.
10/08/05 Fortitech, Inc., the world’s leading manufacturer of custom developed nutrient premixes, has announced the appointment of Mark A. Fanion as the Communications Manager for its global offices in the United States, Europe, Asia Pacific, South America and Mexico.
As Communications Manager, Fanion will manage Fortitech’s global public and media relations efforts. He will be responsible for internal corporate communications initiatives, development of technical articles and a media training program.
Prior to Fortitech, Fanion spent 7 years in local broadcasting as a news producer throughout several markets in the northeastern United States. He also has several years of public relations experience working with the American Heart Association. Most recently, he worked as a news producer for WRGB, the local CBS affiliate located in Niskayuna, New York, USA.
Fanion attended Quinnipiac University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in mass communications. Additionally, he has completed several professional writing seminars held annually by the Poynter Institute.
