Flying Dog Announces 2013 Releases of Single Hop Imperial IPAs

22 Jan 2013 --- Flying Dog’s Single Hop Imperial IPAs are your ticket to the best one-man show in town.

Following in the footsteps of stage legends like Patrick Stewart, Andy Kaufman, and Mike Tyson, only the most rare and interesting hop varieties command the spotlight of our brewers. The 2013 releases include:

- El Dorado (January release): A distinct combination of pine and citrus
- Citra (April release): Strong citrus notes with tropical fruit undertones
- Sorachi Ace (July release): Huge lemon with slight dill aroma and flavor
- Simcoe (October release): Bright tropical fruit and ribe bitterness

Each Single Hop Imperial IPA clocks in at 10% ABV and 70 IBUs. The same grist bill – with Rye, Cara-Pils, and Biscuit specialty malts – is used for each style to let each hop variety shine through.
