F&NCC Beverages buys Sime Oleander mineral water company

Sime Oleander is the largest producer of bottled water in East Malaysia.

02/01/06 F&NCC Beverages Sdn Bhd, a 90 percent-owned subsidiary of Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd, has acquired 51.12 percent stake in Sarawak-based mineral water producer, Sime Oleander Sdn Bhd, for RM8.6 million.

Sime Oleander is the largest producer of bottled water in East Malaysia and is currently the contract manufacturer for F&NCC's top-selling Aquarius mineral water brand in East Malaysia.

F&NCC is the bottler and distributor of Coca-Cola products in Malaysia which include Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Light, Coca-Cola Light Lemon, Vanilla Coke, Sprite, Sprite Ice and Aquarius natural mineral water.
